The bowl is the work of artisan Taiga Oku, born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1986. After graduating from Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts in 2009, he joined Kurokabe Co., Ltd., where he served as Chief of Blow Studio. In 2022, he struck out on his own, establishing an independent glass studio in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. His work blends traditional glassblowing expertise with a clean, contemporary aesthetic.
