The piece comes from glass artist Taiga Oku. Born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1986, Oku graduated from the Faculty of Art at Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts in 2009. The following year, he joined Kurokabe Co., Ltd. as Chief of the Blow Studio, and in 2022 he established his own studio in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, becoming independent.
